I recently restored a 1971 Mercedes Benz 280SL roadster. I wanted a chrome license frame to work with the rear chrome bumpers and chrome of the trunk lid and tail lights. The car has a simple yet elegant design and I wanted the license frame to have that same aesthetic. I originally purchased the classic frame but found it too heavy. This elite version is the sweet spot to my eye. Quality of plating and finish are perfect. My car is garaged and only driven occasionally so I anticipate the frame will last a very long time.
