Installed a heat shield on my mud flap and it works great. Easy to install. A few inches taller and wider would probably help even more.

The install was easy, and the heat shield worked well on my Duramax with the side angle exhaust. Without it the flap would melt. Very nice accessory piece. It should be included as an option when ordering for the Duramax. Sarah in customer service is awesome if you have any questions or need to order any other items. She is a Rock Star!!

Very good quality. Pretty easy to install. Does keep the flap from warping.

We were very concerned that the mud flap might melt or warp as our exhaust is admittedly custom made and flows directly into the flap less than a foot away, so the shield was a no brainer. IT WORKS. We thought we’d have to yet again have the pipe re routed but the shield is doing its job and so far so GOOD!

Just wish it was saw a bigger stainless steel area. 2 inches wider and taller would be nice.

I received the heat shield for the Rock Tamers mud flap but can’t put it on until I pick up the trailer in Tennessee in two weeks. I will know the placement then when I hook up and determine how much to trim on the flap. It looks like good quality.
