I bought the rattle stop kit to mount my license plate to an existing plate license frame. The frame of receiving bolt is made of a hard plastic which slid on the back is my license plate frame when the bolt was tightened, so to make this work (and it worked perfectly) I had to add a small piece of soft rubber between the receiving bolt and my plate frame. This allowed the license plate to be secured tightly with the bolt.
